Wovens Profile
Don & Low Wovens was founded in 1792, initially as manufacturer of linen and flax fabrics and later jute. Based in Forfar, Scotland, the Company now produces a wide range of quality polypropylene yarns and industrial textiles for a variety of markets including carpet backing, geotextiles, agritextiles, horticulture and construction.
The Company produces over 40 tonnes of yarn and approximately 5 million square metres of fabric per week, utilising three different extrusion technologies, and over 240 weaving looms.
Geographical markets extend from North America through Europe to the Middle East and Australasia, recognition of the quality and service the Company has provided over many years.
All products are manufactured under BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
